John Edwards has an example to teach University of California at Davis students how to avoid poverty — charge $55,000 for a speech. [...]
I agree with him all the way, and therefore would like to inform you all that my speaking fee will be raised from the current level of free, to $55,000.In a related story, he's coming to speak to the Alabama Legislature, one assumes to assist them in their efforts to overcome their own personal poverty.
