And you know what ELSE I don't like?

The fact that municipal government doesn't seem to attract nubile supermodels as employees; and, in fact, seems to be set up expressly to discourage them from even being considered.

One of the problems really lies with the fact that there just aren't enough supermodel quality beautiful people to go around.

Ah, can it, crankypants!

We just received our utility bill this month. $464 (all utilities, nice convenience). Gas heat + price hikes. Last month's was $278.

Last year's bill for this period showed $139 for 155 units.

This month's is $305 for 198 units.

Jordana, that just means we need to do a better job of recruiting from the available pool of applicants. A good start would be if we actually HAD a pool, with a nice sundeck. And a slide! Wheeeee!

And Janis, I can't help it.

Aw, c'mon little fella. Smile.

Well, okay, but only because you said it nicely. ::slight smile::

That wasn't so hard, was it?

Posted by: Janis at January 6, 2006 03:12 PM

Of course it was!

It does remind me of this morning--as I was leaving, Jonathan and Catherine got into some sort of dispute, and she started whining that "JONATHAN'S DOING THIS ::making mad face:: AT ME!" I said, "Well, you know the best way to make him stop? Look back at him and smile and wink at him like this ::coy smile with wink:: and I guarantee the mad look will stop."

Sure enough...

One of the things The Boy does to make the Middle Girl scream at him (not that it is hard to make her scream) but one thing is almost every morning he grins and sings a song he made up that basically repeats "I'm so happy". She screams, yells "I'm mad" and gets sent to the living room to calm down and he gets a talking to about bugging his sister. But it is awfully hard to tell him he can't smile or be happy.

Big brothers are expert at that stuff.

Good grief he's a clever one.
