Perpetuating the Stereotype, Volume MCCLXVIII

As you read this article, let's all remember what best for Rainbow.

Although unrelated to the main gist of the article (and its completely self-parodying nature), I am glad to see that newspapers have finally gotten away from the practice of shackling reporters to the silly, outdated concept of having to employ good grammar.

Sounds to me as if the two councilpersons have had an unhappy relatiohship somewhere along the line.

Yes, and it's always the pets that wind up getting hurt. Well, that, and whoever runs the trailer park.

1) No self-respecting man names a dog "rainbow"

2) Since when do goobers have a town council?

3) Who, of the three spatees, has the most impressive mullet?

Not being intimately familiar with all of the circumstances, I will speculate that the dog name was not necessarily one chosen by the man, or if it was, it is possible the reporter mistranscribed the name, which could actually have been "Rambo." Tension can occasionally cause difficulty in translating the spoken word, you know.

As for town councils, obviously they are a necessity in promoting civility among the populace, and thus are beneficial for all persons, regardless of their social status.

Finally, again, not being aware of the parties involved, I can only hazard a guess and speculate that Rainbow (or Rambo) probably would take top honors.
