Well, whaddya know!

All those years of singing "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas," and the dream finally comes true!

Well I intended to email you today to see if the Possum Clan had received the gift of snow this weekend and sure enough, I can see that you did. What a treat! We didn't have snow on Christmas but we did get a 3" download yesterday and very slick roads afterwards, deleaying our trip to see our nearest grandbaby until this evening.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all of you!

Thanks, Nate--it was a treat--only about an inch of the stuff (just enough to make everything pretty--it kept on snowing for another couple of hours after this photo) but the roads stayed mostly clear and the power lines didn't get coated in ice. No runs to the store for non-existent milk and bread, no huge pile-ups, no huddling around the fireplace because the power went out--just a never-before-in-recorded-weather-history Christmas day snow!

Sweet!

Lawsy, I am tired of the cold.

At any rate, Happy New Year, Hon and all!

Yep--once the temps dropped below 70, I was tired of it. You and Lyman and the boys all have a great New Year, too!

And a (belated) merry Christmas to you and your good lady! We got about three inches of snow, but it started Christmas night, so the kids had to wait til the day after.

And if I could have a Christmas wish, it would be for Possum-papa to come back to the blogging side. I know you don't have time in your executive position, but it's my wish. At least give us some posts on your breathless anticipation of an Auburn championship!

Happy New Tear Terry & glad to hear y'all didn't turn into a iceberg. :)

The Volvo looks happy in all that snow. Happy new year!

Marc, about the best I can do now is the occasional weather forecast. And, it's raining snow again tonight! As for Auburn, I predict a very close game--and that's about the best I can do on that forecast.

As for you, Tony--it's still winter, so just because I've not iceberged yet doesn't mean I won't!

AND LAZY KITCHEN HAND! Been quite a while since I've had a communication from the Antipodes! Hope all is well down yonder.
