I which I rejoice at having my nomination selected for today's Ball of the Day!
My thanks to the editorial staff of Bolus, and to Modern Mechanix, from which the item was shamelessly stolen.
Posted by Terry Oglesby at October 21, 2008 12:58 PMThat looks like fun.
Posted by: Janis Gore at October 21, 2008 01:39 PMYeah it does, although nowadays I think it would probably be nothing but lawyer bait.
Posted by: Terry Oglesby at October 21, 2008 04:03 PMBut will the manatees be able to play too? When I'm president I promise a ball for every Manatee American and to bring good hard working folks jobs I'll demand the makers of those balls have their headquarters next to Rosco's Bar B Que on Central & Main.
Posted by: Chef Tony at October 21, 2008 05:28 PMThese are not the manatees I knew.
Posted by: Terry Oglesby at October 21, 2008 05:42 PMBTW Terry this from your masthead "Lumpy and gray!" needs one more verb, balding, too.
I'm the one who wrote this and I still think the Sarah-Cuda is a Babe... & I'll be so glad w/5 Nov is here.
Posted by: Chef Tony at October 24, 2008 03:18 PMBut I'm not balding! Lumpy and gray, however...
As for Mrs. Palin, the thing I like most about her is her ability--simply by existing--to bring large swaths of the "reality-based" electorate into a full-pitched slobbering frenzy, almost at the level they reserve for Chimpy McHalliburton and Darth Cheney.
