Wow!
ANYway, Winnie's got a book, and it sounds like a good one. We've tried our dead level best to encourage our girls to be smart and never back away from it (since all of them really are quite smart in the first place) just to satisfy some sort of need to fit in with the popular stereotype.
So far, we're batting .667.

But man, these days I am constantly reminded of Isaiah 40:8, which Calvin renders "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand forever." It is comforting indeed to know some things are eternal, though our own bodies do indeed fade with time.
Posted by: Stan at July 30, 2007 12:06 PMDidja ever look in the mirror and wonder who that old man is looking back at ya? Yikes, I'm not liking it when I see myself staring back. I have to figure God has a sense of humor when I keep sprouting gray hairs and I still have an occasional bout of ac_ne. Ha ha.
Winnie never did much for me because she reminded me of my younger sister. Kevin's older sister though, hmmmm ...
