The other day, when I was...

...contemplating the myriad ways I could attempt to amass a large sum of cash with as little effort as possible, my mind began to wander. Which is dangerous. In any event, I wondered if the Powers That Be would allow someone to attempt to be on every TV network quiz show. I figured probably not, but it would be fun to try. Then I tried to figure out which one, if I had to limit myself, would I most like to try. Although I love watching Jeopardy!, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is probably better for racking up a sizeable amount of dough in a short period of time, and you're not having to compete against anyone head to head, and you get an unlimited amount of time to agonize. And Meredith Vieira looks a whole lot better in a skirt than Alex Trebeck. (I'm assuming.)

Anyway, which show would YOU most like to be on?

What game show would you most like to appear on as a contestant?

I take it there's no option of being on "All the Hot Babes Want to Spend Time with the Short Jewish Guy From Brooklyn"?

No question: Match Game! Oh, wait, does it have to be current?

For my ego's sake - Jeopardy.

For the sake of fast money - Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?

Sorry, Dan, not at this time. Although I would be willing to nominate you should there ever be the need. And yep, Mike, I was thinking of current quiz shows in which individuals compete against each other (thus the exclusion of Family Feud, which requires a team of idiots).

What on earth do you mean - SHOULD there ever be a need?

Posted by: skinnydan at July 19, 2007 09:08 AM

Sorry, Skinnydan, it's just that the whole concept revolves around something that's such an obvious theme. It would be like having a game show "Does the Sun Come Up in the East?" Of course it does, and of course all the hot babes want to spend time with short Jewish guys from Brooklyn. If you want something NEW, BOLD, and EDGY, maybe it would be better to come up with something like "Hot Babes Cavorting With Dim-witted Southern Marsupials." Now THAT would be very interesting.
