...but I think we're supposed to call them "little people planets" now.

I recalled Eris was the goddess of discord. According to Wikipedia, Hesiod (no, not the lame blogger of a few years ago) wrote that she had some offspring, among them the daemon Dysnomia (lawlessness) for which the planet's moon is named.

I just noticed that at least once in the article the author calls the moon "Dysomnia": "[...] Because Eris and Dysomnia are located more than 90 times farther from the sun than Earth--out in the Kuiper Belt region of the solar system, they appear as little more than pricks of light in telescope observations. [...]"

Heh--maybe some sort of sleep disturbance is giving the writer dyslexia.
