"And the password is..."

Via Jim Smith, via the Law Librarian Blog, via PC World, the Ten Most Common Passwords.

As the article says, "If you recognize yours, you may as well hand over your wallet or purse to the first person you see on the street."

Well, fine.

I've never used any of those, but if you do, in lieu of giving your wallet to a stranger, I would be glad to take it from you in conjunction with my participation in the John Edwards Don't Be Poor Ever Again Seminar™.

Thanks for your support!

Thankfully, now a days, the login to my 'puter and the network is dependent on a card with a chip in it and a non-changing PIN. For all the other stuff, like my daily time recording online, the password requirements have become so complex that its a miracle I ever get logged in. I've taken to using firearms names, model numbers and calibers in some kind of appropriate pattern for my passwords.

Example- *KTP-119mm or *MAU98K-M. (Neither are current passwords, BTW.)

Its a pain and I'm ready for my USB connected fingerprint reader for my security requirements.

I'm betting on Personal Bodily Fluid.

Oh. Well, I suppose that's better than Proudly Booming Flatulence.

Sigh.

Nobody watches the classics any more.
