A word of advice.

Say you're an unstable declining female pop star/mother of two, and you've got a weak chin to begin with, and then a few Pop-Tart induced pounds causing your already weak chin to be a weak double chin, and you don't have any cheekbones, and your eyes are too closely set, well, shaving off all your hair is not going to be a good look for you.

Now I like girls with hair, but there are a few out there with good cheek- and jaw definition who can pull this look off. Sigourney Weaver, Demi Moore, Natalie Portman, and Sinead O'Connor come to mind--all of them have a certain sharpness and prominence to their facial features that can play against the severity of a shaved head.

Without that, you chance winding up looking like you have a big toe sitting on your shoulders.

Oh, and find some better friends, too.

I went to college with a tall, lithe woman with a strikingly lovely face who shaved her head. She had an unscarred, well-shaped skull.

While she had nice enough hair, she was more beautiful without it.

Some people got it, some people ain't.

Terry,

You are so right. Britney Spears would be so much better off if she had a good, mature, supportive circle of friends who would help her grow up. I do wonder how much of the behavior we see from some of these "celebrities" is what we used to call "pack" mentality.

Somewhat off-topic, but tangentially-related perhaps: I read on some blog that "Men are social creatures who can't get along." A lot of truth to that, unfortunately.

I wish I did. My hair is only a finger-width long and I still wake up looking like Buckwheat.

But I have scars among many negatives for that look.

Yes, Miss Janis, but you do have good features.

Thank you, dear.

I didn't know her ears stick out.

Ewwww. The name Elmer Fudd comes to mind.

I don't know. They're kind of cute in a bat-wing sort of way.

Maybe. But not nearly so cute as if she did something like this.
