LAST NIGHT ON 24!
I, uhhh, I--Jack, well, he slapped around some people, and did not display proper weapon handling safety protocols, and talked on the phone and junk.
OH, OKAY!
I missed it.
YES, I MISSED IT! So sue me! I forgot it was on and watched Heroes instead. Which is pretty good, too, almost in kind of a Twin Peaks sort of way. Although I think I wouldn't be watching if it didn't have a cheerleader.
Bad thing?
I didn't even get to see all of THAT because I had to go run pick up Boy from his Scout meeting.
Anyway.
Posted by Terry Oglesby at January 23, 2007 08:41 AMUNBELIEVER! You missed out! Last night we found out that the weasely bald guy from last season (and ER) is Jack's BROTHER! And he has a smokin' hot wife! Who secretly loves Jack! (who doesn't secretly love Jack, really, come on)
At the end Jack was showing some brotherly love by tying weasely bald dude to a chair and smothering him with a plastic bag. Judging from the previews, he lets him live a while longer, though. Jack is looking for his Dad, who appears next week. Apparently he was Jack's Dad before he took up with the Mom on Six Feet Under.
Posted by: skillzy at January 23, 2007 09:55 AMCheerleaders! Is that all you care about?
Well I've got cheerleaders on my site doing fancy flips and stuff. Just turn down the sound, it's a bit loud.
Posted by: Sarah G. at January 23, 2007 10:05 AMI'm sorry, Skillzy. But I'll do better, I promise. Also, I think Jack's nephew is really his son.
And Sarah, alas, the video won't play on my work computer. Not that cheerleaders are the only thing I think about, because they aren't.
Sometimes I think about getting a temporary dragon tattoo on my sternum.

Geez, isn't Jack too busy saving the world to deal with a dysfunctional family as well?
What was the deal with Pres Palmer reading his final statment like he was a third grader? DB is a better actor than that.
Posted by: Diane at January 23, 2007 10:19 AMYOW! I picked a bad time to miss a night!
As for Jack, family dysfunction is a running theme. Much like running. And shooting. And whupping up on bad guys.
