Posted by: skinnydan at August 29, 2006 12:58 PMSeems to be a day for chili. I was eating leftover chili for lunch today too. But mine had meat in it. Mmmmm....
Posted by: Jordana at August 29, 2006 01:08 PMThere's people who make chili without meat!?
Posted by: Terry Oglesby at August 29, 2006 01:27 PMI don't eat cheese, but for those kosher folks who do and like cheese in their chili, meatless is the way to go.
Bulgur is supposed to substitute for the meat, but I suspect it's not doing its job that well.
Posted by: skinnydan at August 29, 2006 03:38 PMSomehow, the idea of cowboys sitting down at the campfire and enjoying a big bowl of steaming chili after a hard day of herding bulgurs does seem to leave a bit to be desired.
