I don't think it means what you think it means.

I was sitting in class Sunday listening to a good lesson about the necessity of sacrifice when the teacher got tangled up on a word. He searched his mind for a second before deciding "spontanuity" was what he wanted.

'That's an odd one,' I thought. He was going for either "spontaneous" or "spontaneity" but what came out sounded like some kind of a cross between spontaneous and continuous. Or maybe spontaneous and ingenuity. Or, as the Pseudodictionary has it, a combined form of spontaneous and opportunity.

Anyway, now I can't quit thinking about it.

Can't quit thinking about it ... look, a badger!!

Sounds like a good name for a blog, especially one of those random post-thoughts-whateversonmymind.

Hmmm, Possonuity? A spontaneous opportunity to find out what a Possum thinks.

I like Possularity.

And you can take your pick for the origin or the word between a cross of Possum (as opposed to a cross of some other material) and Hilarity, or as a mix of Possum and Singularity (which produces the ultimate state of Possumnessessessess).

Pardon the lisp.

Or even the origin OF the word...

Well, there is Possumess, the conjoining of "possum" and "mess." Or Possumidity--possum and stupidity (or humidity). Or, HEY! WAIT A MINUTE! IT'S LITTLE A!! We thought you were, well, you know...

working.

Spontanuity: when a distant relative suddenly dies and leaves you an annual dividend.
