Something simple this week.

We’ve explored every possible topic known to humankind here on the Thursday Three, so sometimes it’s nice just to relax and ask some simple things.

So, here’s the AoW Model of Simplicity Version of the Thursday Three.

Please leave your answer in the comments below, or leave a link to your blog.

1. Who, beside your spouse, is your favorite person to go hang around with?

2. If you could only have one, would you pick a dog or a cat as a pet?

3. What part of your appearance would you most like to change?

There now!

As for my answers:

1. I would say probably My Friend Jeff, although we really don’t hang around together much at all. Then again, I don’t hang around much of anyone, being that I’m very antisocial.

2. I think right now, a cat would be better, mainly because they’re lower in upkeep. If you forget to feed one, they’ll go kill something. Forget to bathe it? No way--they’re self-cleaning, and not like the oven, because you don’t have to twist any of their knobs or lock their door.

But this is not to say I wouldn’t want a dog. The cat would get lonely without a friend, and dogs make good friends to all animals, even cats. So, first, a cat, then a dog.

Then a wildebeest.

3. I wish I had longer legs. I would be around 6-1 or so if my 29 inch inseamed legs weren’t so blamed much shorter in proportion to my torso. I look like a barrel set on tree stumps. With a huge watermelon atop the end of the barrel. (My giant head would probably be the second thing I would like to change a bit.)

So, there you go.

Simple is as simple does...I'm up.

I’m UP.

1. My sister, I suppose.

2. A dog, now -- one that wouldn't be likely to attack birds.

3. Oh, I don't know. Ask me again in ten years when my jowls begin to droop.

I'm up, before noon, even!

Way to busy to play today. There's a final exam tonight and a presentation tomorrow night that needs me to write my part this afternoon so we can practise tonight after the test and several charts that I need to create concerning my new programs on the job before COB today.

Those charts are going to be late. Sorry 'bout that.

Anyway, I'll play here today.
1. My brother Tim. I really like his company. Or, My Friend Renee, except she's not talking to me amymore.
2. A cat would be my first choice. I like dogs well enough but cats are my favorite. My two now greet me in the driveway when I get home, beg to be held when I get inside and assume that my lap is theirs when I finally sit down. But low maintenance and self-sufficient at the same time.
3. I wouldn't mind being more than 5'4" tall. I'm too fat and I have a belly that's embarrasing but I wouldn't mind being a few inches taller.

Now I'm back to work!

Too busy to play, but NOT! Which is just fine, if you ask me.

I'm up. Late, but up.

My turn!

1. My brother, who is a great guy to hang out with. I don't see too much of him as he lives in Montgomery.

2. I much prefer cats--I am not at all a "dog person." I guess I've never been bitten by a cat, for one thing.

3. Well, I had a really bad bout with Graves' disease in the 1990s and it messed my right eye up. If I could have that fixed I'd be pleased. (I could have surgery, I guess, but I avoid surgery when at all possible.)

Hey, my sister had a bad spell with Graves' disease, too. Luckily, she didn't suffer any long-term damage, but she was very sick for a while.
