Jack Bauer Update!

I give up--Rudy is the stupidest moron in the whole shire--too danged chicken to admit he got his butt whipped by Courtney Love's roadies, but willing to gas a bunch of kids in a mall!? And then next week wants to have Jack arrested AGAIN for doing the right thing?

And NIXON! What in the world is wrong with you people!? Why in the world did you elect this guy!? Poor Crazy First Lady Jean Smart should knock him in the head with an ashtray or something. And then she should run over to CTU and slap the moron hobbit around a bit until he cries like a little girl.

Frankly, about the only thing that will keep me watching is if Kim returns to CTU to be the Special Swimwear Agent.

Stupid show.

As per usual, I remain confused.

Me, too. I still can't figure how Rudy managed to get where he is, other than he must have nekkid pictures of someone and he blackmailed his way into the job. I think it's time for someone to give him a blanket party.

Rudy was a lot tougher when he was protecting Mister Frodo from that little anorexic gremlin thing. Maybe he got the position based on that, and lost his edge over the years.

And probably a little too much time spent hanging around in the trees with Merry.

As per policy in the nouveau-Nixon administration, Samwise had to shave his feet. All followers of Tolkien's work will understand that he thusly loses his overseers magic. His annoying tendencies and need to reiterate that he's "the boss" and hence "running things" are, unfortunately, compounded.

But what you are saying is that I picked the wrong season to finally start watching this show?

I have thought all along that making him wear wingtips was going to lead to trouble, and obviously, it has. And dangitall, when Mr. Frodo was around, he didn't have that tendency to want to throw his considerable weight around and yalp about being Mr. Bossman. Next, I expect him to stamp his big feet and throw a hissy fit and cry.

Big baby.

And as for watching for the first time, no, I don't think it makes much of a difference.

Wow, you're re-commenting before I can cycle back through and close the dialogue box. Those internets and that whirl white webbing is amazing!

I, too, have wondered if he would pout. Particularly last night. But, then, he is also probably past due on lunch and requisite restroom breaks.

Well, sure--his tummy is grumbly, and that's understandable. But instead of hanging out with Courtney Love, he should have been down to the Tail of the Pup and getting some hotdogs for everyone so they'd be more apt to listen to him. And he wouldn't be so danged hungry.

Big men gotta eat, you know.
