Adventures in Headline Writing! Part II

Now call me crazy, but this just seems like an unfair disadvantage--Olympic bobsledding champ juggles family in bid to win new medal

I mean, I love family juggling as much as the next guy, but I don't really think of it as a winter sport, and to expect someone to do it while riding a bobsled seems almost punative.

I think it would be very tricky on some of the banked turns. There is a real risk that the MIL could get bonked on the head and left behind.

I'd like to see them trying to juggle a family in bed! Wearing lederhosen!! And having taunts hurled at them!!!

I don't know--to me, it just smacks of the "style points" thing that I just can't stand in stuff like ice skating. You just KNOW there's going to be one judge who's on the take or who wants his country's team to win, and he'll be the one to take off points if someone's lederhosen isn't just the right sparkliness, or will take off more points if the American team drops a few kids than they would if the Lower Slobovian team did.

I think this whole thing ranks right up there with the "Ski Jumping on Elephant-back" fiasco at Nagano.

I still think they should bring back walrus wrestling.

No kidding--that and Polar Bear Taunting were always my favorites.
