Posted by Terry Oglesby at February 3, 2006 12:15 PMWell, if they really think taking vacuums door-to-door will help make up the shortfall, I applaud their drive and commitment.
Posted by: skinnydan at February 3, 2006 12:21 PMI just hope they don't run into the trouble that Lucy did when she was trying to sell that Handy Dandy vacuum cleaner...

Posted by: MarcV at February 3, 2006 02:34 PMOddly enough, we just had our washing machine serviced this afternoon and the repairman told us if we ever have to get a new washer, and he didn't think we would be needing one any time soon, that we shouldn't get a Maytag. He was just telling us they were crummy.
Posted by: Jordana at February 3, 2006 07:08 PMI should think so--they only have one lonely repair guy, and apparently they've stuck him in a room with a phone that only accepts calls from people who don't have Maytag washers.
