The dress is not all that flattering for Ms. Krauss, but the first photo was not that bad. The second one, well, that's just wrong place-wrong time. I would not know from experience but I'm guessing that it's difficult to fiddle and sing in a formal gown.

I think the worst thing is that it looks okay until you get up around the interesting part, and then it looks like she's swaddled in feed sacks. I have a feeling she'll be more careful about backlighting in the future. Or, maybe wear something like this

It's funny to see her all gussied up in formal clothes. Her son is in The Boy's class and when she's there waiting to pick him up from school, she usually prefers overalls.

I think she'd look fine in those, too.

In more important matters, why is it you've held this information from me for so long!?

Obviously, now you're going to have to tell her that she has to send me an autographed picture that I can hang up next to my Wendy Garner one.

I try not to get all giddy and blurt out to people that I got to talk to Alison Krauss. That wouldn't be very nice. I just act like I hang out with celebrities regularly.

Well, sure, don't we all, but still--there is a time and place to get all giddy, and now that I've cleared out an area on my bulletin board that will be just perfect for her picture. Tell her I said thanks!

Man!! Now I'm extry jealous of Jordana. Not only does she make beautiful babies but she knows Alison Krauss too. Hmmm, who knows, in the future AK's son could date Middle Girl, since he would know her through The Boy.
