It's days like this...

...that remind me why it's called Work and not Fun.

Blech.

Given the circumstances (namely, a steaming pile of work on my desk) I think I am going to have to cast about unto you, the multitude of regular Possumblog visitors, for a volunteer to host the Thursday Three tomorrow--tomorrow being Thursday and all.

And someone will volunteer, either willingly or by force.

Please drop me a note via Chet the E-Mail Boy, or a comment below. The world thanks you for your willingness to give of your time.

I would do it except I also will not be able to play tomorrow due to a day of delight moderating an all day planning session.

I think Mrs. Adams might be offering to play hostess this week, but we're still ironing out the details. Just in case, we probably need several understudies for the role.

I'm just waiting for Jim to send me the questions. :) Terry seems to think I have to make up my own, but everyone knows Jim ghost writes these things. Right?

Larry helps, too!

If I write one more I’m going to count it as a publication.

OOH! Can I be a footnote!?

You get o be a primary source. Either that or listed under material not cited.

Does it pay $900.66?

Posted by: Terry Oglesby at May 11, 2005 04:28 PM

Get used to that number. That is about what books and supplies will cost per kid in college—per year. Unless they decide to major in something more expensive like art or architecture.

Good thing I bought all those lottery tickets...

Posted by: Terry Oglesby at May 11, 2005 04:42 PM

That’s a whole lot better than my plan of having High Fly in the Derby.

Posted by: jim at May 11, 2005 04:47 PM

Oh, and I forgot my investment in fine European classic automobiles...

Mmmm...steaming piles.

The most expensive major? Mine. English.
