"Unjust winds of criticism..."

Miss Janis, fingers fluttering across keyboard like so many Eclectus parrots, bids her readers to join with her in creating new verse for the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest!

"Do your worst," she said, her hands clutching the faultily repaired balcony railings, as he bent her backwards, his long blonde mane gently grazing her neck like the soft touch of the sea oats, or of sand fleas. "I am the condo board president, and you can impose no more on me than I have already had to bear under these unjust winds of criticisUMMMMMMMMM!"

Shoot, hon. I see a future for you in that kind of writing.

Toy not with me, madame! It is only the smallest hope that still beats in my breast that the Shampoo Instruction Writer job will come available and be offered to me.

That was hot.

Hot like the desert wind--yet not so hot as the unjust winds of criticism...

I'm afraid to comment.

Whoops, too late.

What? Possumblog has turned into a soap opera? Ack!

"The Young and the Marsupial"? "As the Blog Turns"? Hmmm......

I just read this to my sister. You already have a fan.

FINALLY! After three and a half years, I finally have a fan!

Yes, Lita--Possumblog is now in the process of being converted entirely into a soap opera blog. [ominous organ music] You...you sound as though you disapprove. Was it what Don Carlo said? Don't listen to that fool! His mind is clouded by his desire to influence the selection of the new chief resident at County Mercy Medical. Ever since the kidnapping, he's not been the same, and you know that! We ALL know that! He's...he's changed, Lita, and you shouldn't trust him!

What about DaveH? Hahahahahaaa--Lita, you are so naive! Dave is too wrapped up in his own world--the world of tractors, Lita. You know it, although I know you find it difficult to deal with.

WAIT! What's THAT!?

I thought he said "You've won a brand new washer dryer, provided by Maytag. But that's not all - we've also got a full-length mink coat! And, of course, the Possumblog home game."

Ooohhhhhh.

You said Don CARLO. I thought you said Don PARDO. My mistake.
