Fixing to come a cloud.

We're having our big Magic City Art Connection deal outside my window in the park. Always a fun time for local artists, including a guy I work with. But it seems to never fail that it rains at least one day. And I just now looked out the window (because I was greatly annoyed by some sort of hippie noseflute worldbeat music) and it's as black as night and looks like its about to come quite a storm. They have tents set up for the artists to sell out of, but they don't offer much cover.

At least the hippie music quit.

We were just over there! Saw the hippy guy too. Now I know where you work. We've got a photogallery up on al.com, with more pics over the weekend. Just in case you get tired of being on the inside looking out you can now be on the inside looking ... inner. Oh bother. http://www.al.com/entertainment/photos/

I know what you're trying to say, Kenny. (Not really)

Anyway--those are some pretty good shots, although I think the lady in #14 would appreciate you NOT taking her picture ANY MORE!

If she had not stepped right into the shot we wouldn't have had the first picture of her. Excuse us, camera to face, trying to compose a picture ... Not even sure why they used that one. Maybe it, in itself, is art.

Sometimes the best art is done unselfconsciously, when we allow life to intersect life, and then freeze it lest it escape our grasp.

Although I do think it's kinda funny to think of her getting all Travis Bickle on you and start screaming, "YOU LOOKIN' AT ME!?"
